Are you awake at night and it's causing you to be half dead during the day? Unfortunately there are many ways to cure insomnia. Sometimes we have doubt that these are really effective. Well, any tip that tells you how to fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer can be useful.

It depneds on how well you apply these tips for curing insomnia.

The first thing to take care of is to get all the light out of your room. Quite simply:

  • Make sure the shades are down,
  • Turn off the television, and
  • Close your bedroom door.

Light is the main culprit for my sleep disorder. It has been the reason for many sleepless nights and going through the day like the walking dead. There’s nothing worse than changing your position and your eyes are directly in front of the hall light.

The next thing to do when curing insomnia is get all the possible distractions out of the bedroom. So for us workaholics, we need to leave the cell phones laptops off and out of the bedroom. Do you know that some people stress out wondering if work is going to call them or not? If you think you can get sleep this way, your delusional.

Getting away from all the things that distract you in live should be the main part of your strategies for deep sleep when you have insomnia. If you’re a parent, make sure the kids go to bed a decent time and are asleep before you are. Let's face it, we really can.
